  8. Ed Pooler says:

I was in a religion which was not THE TRUTH but since I was not qualified to judge the various "Christianities", I did the simplest and best way to determine which church I should attend. There is no doubt that the ORIGINAL Christianity (as Jesus Himself taught) is the purest and most accurate.

There are several books which describe the original Christianity. 2 of the books which helped are: The apostolic age of the Christian church Volumes 1 and 2 by Weizsacker, Karl Heinrich Von, 1822-1899. There are other sources. 3 of the most accurate Bibles are the Aramaic Bible, the King James Protestant Bible, and thirdly, the Douay–Rheims Catholic Bible.

I put all this info together in biblical format and compiled this https://www.amazon.com/Biblical-Textbook-Salvation-Edward-Pooler/dp/1684111994/ref=sr_1_1_twi_pap_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1536213557&sr=1-1&keywords=the+biblical+textbook+of+salvation book, It probably is not perfect but it i is close enough to the original Judeo-Christianity to be very useful.

Some Baptist Denominations seem to adhere most to the original.

  9. Jacob Tack says:

I would like to ask you a few questions on your belief.

Why does Christianity celebrate Christmas if the Messiah was not born Dec 25th? (I have been told by pastors and other Christians it is a date chosen because we don’t know for sure when He was born). Answer found in Luk1&2.

How is it then that you celebrate Easter, but it is impossible to get 3 days and 3 nights(Mt 12:40) from Good Friday to the 1st day. Answer found in Lev 23.

How is it that you will follow the sacraments of the church but discard the ordinances of our Heavenly Father? ie: Scriptural feasts. Lev 23/Dt16

Why is it that you won’t call Our father by His Sacred Hebrew Name which He wrote with His own finger in stone(Ex 31:18)? Instead call Him Lord a pagan deity – Baal (Jer 23:27)? (commanded in Ex 20)

Why do you refuse to call our Messiah by His Sacred Hebrew Name, but insist on a Greek pagan Name Jesus. (The letter “J” did not exist more than 500 years ago). I have come in My Father’s Name Joh 5:43. Do you see Jesus in Lord? But I do see Yahusha in Yahuah. Which means Yahuah saves!

Why do you not keep the 7th day Sabbath, which is the eternal covenant sign Yahuah has with His people? (Ex 31) But choose the 1st day? But a Sabbath remains for the people of Elohim. (Hebr 4:9)

Where exactly in Scripture was the Sabbath changed to the 1st day? Where Yahuah used around a 100 words (depending on translation) to make sure we will remember.(Ex 20). Even in His death and resurrection He kept the Sabbath.

Psa 89:34  “I shall not profane My covenant, Neither would I change what has gone out from My lips.

You will also find in the following verses He says He changes NOT! Mal 3:6; Tit 1:2; James 1:17; Hebr 6:17

According to my Scriptures we are to obey His Word and walk as He has walked. If you say you know Him and do not as He commanded? You are a liar according to your Bible.

1Jn 2:3  And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands.

1Jn 2:4  The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1Jn 2:5  But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected1 in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

1Jn 2:6  The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked.

So how did our Messiah walk?

He kept the commandments, the 7th  day Sabbath; He called His Father by His Sacred Name; He observed the Scriptural feasts, He wore tzitzits and ate kosher.

And you profess to claim your messiah Jesus changed all this? After He lived the example by obeying all of Torah, His disciples obeyed these commands after His death just like Yahusha Messiah did.

Mat 5:17  “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete

Mat 5:18  “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.

All had to be fulfilled that was written in the….

Luk 24:44  And He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all have to be filled that were written in the Torah of Mosheh and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” (In other words the whole OT)

And at some point Christianity was born, after our Messiah ascended into the heavens. And it all changed!!! How? When? And why? would our Messiah Yahusha have His Name changed and every example He lived for us to follow? Would it not have been clearer if He changed it while He was on earth with us?

Of course not, because He does not change!!!

Joh 14:15  “If you love Me, you shall guard My commands.

Rom 3:31  Do we then nullify the Torah through the belief? Let it not be! On the contrary, we establish the Torah.

    Shalom

    Jacob

Evangelicals are hypocritical sacks of shit. They "love children" yet cosign politicians that send drones to carpet bomb whole villages in other nations.

  19. Matilde Minto says:

This video talks about the PROTESTANT DENOMINATIONS NOT CHRISTIAN ONES, because the Roman Catholic Church is Christian and the Greek Orthodox Church is obviously Christian but not Protestant.

  20. TheSeverian says:

Am I the only one who thinks it's hilarious to read and watch people argue about myths as if they are real?

  21. busybody1 says:

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Jesus has many many millions upon millions of followers scattered all over this Earth, from many different backgrounds and denominations, if you can't handle this simple truth and you're telling yourself that only your denomination is the true church and only your members are children of God oh, that's a heck of a plank you have in your eye!! Jesus simply asks us to share the good news of the Gospel, not discourage and divide fellow Christians by self-righteously accusing them of being unGodly, you don't have to scroll down very far on this or other Christian videos find very hateful unchristian comments attacking each other, and yes I have certainly been guilty of this in the past I can testify that it only leads to guilt and shame, instead let us love and encourage our neighbor! Amen

  24. VIDA VIDA says:

Still confused, just say it has to do with control

  25. Peter Karel Kraus says:

Catholicism , Mormonism and Jehovah's Witnesses are heresies. Liberal churches like Congregationalists, once were GOOD churches but lost the Holy Spirit and turned to sin to get butts in the pews. Here is the reality. No jew will EVER enter the Kingdom by rejecting THEIR Messiah. The gentile church has, on the whole, been an absolute NIGHTMARE and a HORRIBLE witness to the MESSIAH'S people, who He LOVES and came to FIRST.

  26. Dan Edwards says:

Blaming "liberal" theology for 1800 years of schisms in the the Christian religion is really absurd, and very dishonest. This series claims to be "Honest Answers" but this video is anything but honest.

  27. Robert Sullivan says:

Liberalism is a disease and is infecting our religion and politics and moral fiber. The Catholic Church is completely infected with liberalism it's called modernism.

  28. Art Ellingsen says:

This is excellent, but why don't the people who run this channel call themselves, "Southern Baptist Seminary" instead of just, "Southern Seminary"?

  29. Patrick Edgington says:

The question you tackle is the differences in denominations and why there is such wide spread disagreement between Christians. The fact is there is no division in Christ. No Jew no Greek no female etcetera. So a socio-political explanation may account for religion's and the division seen there but does not adress the stated question which results form the misnomer, one is the other. Church is not a building or doctrines it is a condition denoting inner spiritual life. Christianity is Grace by faith and what the church should be teaching is what these look like, the changes normaly rought as a result of, perhaps most pertinent how one comes to be reborn. There are countless throngs of persons sitting in pews or padded seats weekly that are bound for hell, but they to the man strongly assert salvation. These are those focused on politics. Making the world a better place. Don't misunderstand a better world is a fine goal but has nothing to do with spiritual life. They may at times bump up against the other but they are not wed. Simply if you are looking at denominations you are very likely not looking at Christians. That is not to say the one might'nt be the cradel of the other I was born RC, but in time came to understand one can be a good Catholic or one can be a good Christian but one cannot be both. I choose Yeshua. But being Catholic was fun. I understand why many are convinced God is found in their communion. They pull out a bible and talk about God after all, sing songs give praise what more could God want. Yeshua answers this do the will of my father, which is to belive on the one he sent. I understand they, those sitting in services week after week will say of course we belive, but this belife must be of the heart the core the Spirit, not of the head. The diffrence is this that a Christian has without exception encountered God. Eles a relationship would be absurd. Many know of God but few know God. 5HOSE that do have eyes to see and ears to hear, then are alive and in Christ. These are church and these alone. Everything depends on Faith and if you say faith is believing do you then belive a man who assert with absolute conviction he is an eagle can fly……naturally not yet we have Peter stepping out of the boat and for a time by faith standing on water. Then his faith failed and down he went. Obviously faith is substantive, where as belife at least of the sort we are normaly speaking of is not.

  30. Marty says:

"Let them show the origins of their churches, let them unroll the list of their Bishops (showing) through a succession coming down from the very beginning that their first Bishop had his authority and predecessor someone from among the number of Apostles or apostolic men and, further, that he did not stray from the Apostles. In this way the apostolic churches present their earliest records. The church of Smyrna, for example, records that Polycarp was named by John; the Romans, that Clement was ordained by Peter. In just the same way, the other churches show who were made Bishops by the Apostles and who transmitted the apostolic seed to them. Let the heretics invent something like that" De praescr haeret 32

"And this one thing is certain…the Christianity of history is not Protestantism. If there ever were a safe truth, it is this. And Protestantism has ever felt it so… This is shown in the determination…of dispensing with historical Christianity altogether, and of forming a Christianity from the Bible alone: men never would have put [historical Christianity] aside, unless they had despaired of it…
To be deep in history is to cease to be Protestant."
“Nothing is more common than for men to think that because they are familiar with words they understand the ideas they stand for.”

  31. Rusti Shackleford says:

Very informative.. I've suspected I grew up a Baptist and confirmed it with a survey that asked 21 questions about my views on YESHUA, faith, scripture and salvation. My best friend is Presbyterian and his church appears to run like a military with ranks, roles and a chain of command.. but outside of church we are undistinguishable. Salvation is in the heart and not in a building.

  32. Robert Fustin says:

Christ in vests, like always, authority to act in his name to very specific percentages. The Quorum of the twelve when they act as a group, and at no time did he do away with leadership constituted by him in the form of a prophet. He never said prophets were done away with. As for your argument that Bishops are in one denomination and pastors are in another, they're both the same thing under the Greek understanding of a bishop. Bishop also includes somebody with the title of Pastor, Parsons, Minister, etc etc etc. It is why in Romans when it says a bishop bust be a man of a single wife, a Doctrine which follows that a rabbi must also have a wife, it doesn't allow for a Parsons, Bishop, priest, minister, to get divorced or to not have a wife, or to have more than one wife.

There is no scriptural evidence for having infants baptized for the remission of sins. As they cannot commit a sin, it is an affront to God to baptize to remove sins from an innocent being.

  33. Atheist says:

"Religion allows perfectly decent and sane people to believe by the billions, what only lunatics could believe on their own."

  34. Atheist says:
