The Bible leaves no room for ambiguity when it comes to this issue. This pastor got it right.

  2. flewjewcoop says:

A church with no Biblical standards is not part of the body of Christ.

  3. Daisey says:

My church has lead pastors husband & wife wife is pastor tooand every woman thats works in there is sonehow pastor but it is wrong to have woman as pastors..i dont know which church to go that follows the bible im not against woman ..and God made woman and men equal..

  4. mercy johnson says:

This man is absolutely right – WOMEN CAN'T SPEAK IN THEIR CHURCHES EVEN THOUGH GOD APPOINTS THEM AND FILLS THEM WITH HIS SPIRIT TO MINISTER TO THE WORLD IN GENERAL.

Because churches are no more than religious organizations run by men. And they do not permit women anything but to be in subservience and of course in SILENT attendance. Poor things! What would they do if women did not attend their churches!! Life would be too difficult for them if they have to contend with fellow-males all the time for superiority, power and authority. As it is churches multiplying everyday as a cover up for some faction or dissension that cropped among them itself is too embarrassing for them to say the least. Women, on the other hands, are such ready preys. Easy to dominate, easy to control than fellow-males!

So in order that women come to their churches and in hordes along with their children and pay homage to their almighty selves 'marriage' is also very important to them – and why not? It will keep the blasted women absolutely and firmly entrenched in subservience, by their vile rules of oppression. They will ensure that – waving their Bible at their faces whenever the occasion demands. This is why even the so called redeemed women among them continue under their dominance, which by the way did not come to them as blessing but as a curse (Gen 3:16). And since women at large also conclude that it is the easier option, why not?

Before I conclude, I'll remind my readers a few things:
    1. The 1 Cor 14:34 referred to in the video exposes them. In the video they have only quoted it partially. The verse actually begins: "AS IN ALL CONGREGATIONS OF THE SAINTS, women should remain silent.." LET THE ONE WHO CAN DISCERN DISCERN, FOR HASN'T THE VERSE JUST GONE ON TO SUBSTANTIATE THAT THEIR TEACHINGS ARE BUT TEACHINGS OF MEN, NO DIFFERENT FROM THAT OF ALL THE OTHER RELIGIOUS BODIES OUT THERE IN THE WORLD – ALL OF WHOM THEY'D THEREFORE NATURALLY RECOGNIZE AS 'CONGREGATIONS OF SAINTS'?

    2. As for the rest of the verses by which they seek to qualify a man for the 'esteemed position' – which man in this world would really fit the bill? For who in the world has been able to lead his family in the Way of righteousness – without spot or blemish, when the truth is that he himself is inescapably subjected to it? And at what age can one go on to actually claim one has achieved it? If in doubt, just take a look at some of the Spirit's testimonials against them: Gen 3:17a, Hos 6:7, Isa 43:27, Ezek 2:3, Zech 1:2, Mal 3:7, Ps 78:57, Deut 32:19, Isa 29:13, Matt 5:12b, Lk 6:23b, 2 Jn 10 etc. etc. etc.

All fathers in this world have failed and of course continue to fail. But of course! For 'man' has always been unfaithful to God. Even in his glorious estate back in Eden. It cost him everything, even the image and likeness of God in which he was created. SINCE THEN ALL HIS OFFSPRING HAVE ONLY BORNE THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF THEIR FALLEN FATHER (Gen 5:3), AND HIS SONS IN PARTICULAR HAVE IN ADDITION INHERITED HIS LEGACY OF CORRUPTION, DEATH AND DESTRUCTION THAT CAME TO REIGN ON HIM THANKS TO HIS UNFAITHFULNESS AND DISOBEDIENCE (Gen 3:17-19).

Yet, does he dare to pretend that he is capable of raising them above it? Let those who can discern, discern.

    3. Oh! AND LETS STOP PRETENDING THAT IT WAS THE FEMALE WHO SINNED FIRST. WASN'T IT THE MALE WHO INSTEAD OF GIVING GOD THE DUE GLORY, GLORIED IN HIMSELF AND PRONOUNCED HIS FIRST LIE TO THE WOMAN THEREBY EVEN CHANGING HER GOD-ORDAINED NAME 'MAN' – refer Gen 2:23 & Gen 5:2.

WASN'T HE WHO WAS ENTRUSTED WITH THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD? THIS IS WHY THE SPIRIT OF GOD TESTIFIES AGAINST HIM AND CALLS HIM UNFAITHFUL (Hos 6:7, Isa 43:27 etc.) AND ACCUSES HIM OF HAVING BROKEN THE COVENANT. BECAUSE HE DISTORTED THE COMMANDMENT WHILST IMPARTING IT TO THE FEMALE, CAUSING HER TO REMAIN IN IGNORANCE AND THEREFORE STUMBLE.

AND TO THOSE STILL IN BLIND SUPPORT OF HIS FEIGNED INNOCENCE, DOES HE NOT HIMSELF PROVE HOW CALLOUS HE WAS WITH THE COMMANDMENT WHEN HE CHOSE TO DISOBEY GOD FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHATSOEVER SAVE THE REASON THAT IT WAS OFFERED TO HIM!! AT LEAST THE WOMAN WAS LURED IN TO BELIEVING IT WOULD HELP HER ACQUIRE WISDOM WHICH SHE SO RIGHTLY FELT LACKING. AND DID HE NOT PROVE HOW UNREPENTANT AND REBELLIOUS HE WAS BY OPTING TO SHIFT THE BLAME ON TO GOD AND THE WOMAN (Gen 3:12) – which is what men at large do till date!

AND DOES NOT MAN CONTINUE TO PROVE HOW HE HAS BEEN WILLFULLY CORRUPTING EVERY WORD OF GOD SINCE THEN. Refer Jer 8:8. THE BIBLE HE ADVOCATES TESTIFIES AGAINST HIM. All the careful compilation of lies in it, further abetted by the churches he plants, the Bible schools and seminaries he employs to propagate them – ALL COLLECTIVELY TESTIFY AGAINST HIM AND HIS ANTI-MESSIANIC SPIRIT OF LAWLESSNESS.

And indeed God has been exposing them for all who care to see. And He will not stop until the last of them is exposed – the ULTIMATE MAN OF LAWLESSNESS.

    4. The need of the hour, therefore, is to RETURN TO YOUR GOD, my dear readers. For He is faithful to teach and lead you in to all truth just as He promised. For only then will you be able to recognize these evil spirits whose only intention is to gain control of His people – whether through the Balaams or the Jezebels of this world. For only then will you be able to flee them while you may, so that you do not partake in their crimes – which by the way has piled up as high as the heavens already! For if you don't, you will also like them perish and end up partaking in the plagues that is going to come upon them – BECAUSE AS THE WORD TESTIFIES THEY ARE THE ONES WHO WILL FIRST FACE THE WRATH OF GOD!!

  7. bibleway79 says:

You are performing biblical eisegesis rather than exegesis. Junia is the Greek spelling in masculine form indicating a male. Junias would be the Hebrew spelling in feminine form indicating a female. Besides, scripture does not say he was an apostle, but only that he was well known among them.

  8. Valeria Farries says:

Romans 16:7, "Salute Andronicus and Junia (a woman), my kinsmen, and my fellow-prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me." Search Strong's Concordance to find that a HOLY WOMAN CAN be an overseer to pastor, an elder to teach, a bishop over men, etc. Ex. 1 Tim. 3:1. "if a man" G1536 – whosoever, etc. "Bishop" G1984 – office of an elder, etc. Verse 2, "Bishop" G1985 – elder, etc. V.1 is position. V.2 is person. Acts 14:23, 'elders' G4245 – elder man, elder woman. Acts 20:28, "overseers" G1985-elder of Christian church, etc. Whoever desires the office of bishop. Gal. 3:13, Christ redeemed us.

  9. Carson Whitney says:

why do you speak about this like your scared your going to be judged. the Bible says what it says if people disagree it doesn't matter just support it 100%

  10. Jessica Ballard says:

I was right in board until you said you have female deacons but I just pulled up at least 5 scriptures, one in which you quoted that specifically says that deacons are men!!!!

  11. Jelly Boo says:

Dude you are so wrong, women and men are equal. If you truly read the bible and looked into the terms and words you would understand. Some translations have been made to be sexist way back then and now people think men are better.

  12. Myra Waiters says:

Give one letter in the Bible that was ever written to a pastor? Pastors are shepherds, not ceo's. The body is made up of many members, not just one. More than one elder per church is biblical. So, there is no title of pastor in Scripture for men or women. Humble yourself to the word of God.

  13. John S says:

1Timothy3 did not start off by saying a bishop or elder must be a husband simply, this FIRST started off by quoting a quote as in ""this is a true saying"". This quote stated how man ""Desires"" a (good thing) if he ""Desires"" to be bishop. Now obviously every man cannot desire to all be bishop together.((1Corinthians12:29 "Are all apostles? Are all teachers? Are all prophets?))
See, the reason why paul addressed the "husband" issue, was to regard the man God calls out of many ""Desiring"" to be bishop or elder, then he said to have 1 spouse. That's why he said a bishop ""THEN"" must be the husband of 1 wife….in other words have 1 spouse. Now telling a man to have 1 spouse/1 wife as he becomes bishop, is not saying the role must be for a husband or for men. The bible never diversified roles in church between men and women. 1Corinthians14:34-35 is what paul re-quoted and rebuked in verse 36 with a question to the men. 1Timothy2:11-12 was addressing the ephesian women teaching a reversed order of Adam and Eve in the garden. Which reversed the punishment upon marriage in the garden, when adam was given authority over his wife Paul simply did not want women of ephesus taking force of authority ""Over"" the husband(The Man). Jesus in Mark8:38 said do not be ashamed to speak his word before man, so paul would not be silencing women from speaking or pastoring in church

  14. John S says:

You have got this wrong. 1Timothy3 did not start off by saying a bishop or elder simply must be a husband, 1Paul's letters were addrressing the errors of the church whom he wrote to. Paul requotes what he was against and then responds back to correct them with a question or statement.

  15. Nameless User says:

In the Greek language commands are clear by the Greek words used and/or the form of the words used. When Paul says, "I do not permit a woman to teach," it is not a command. It is clear he was stating his opinion/advice on the matter. He also advised people to stay single, said women should cover their heads in church and that it's disgraceful for a woman to cut off her hair.Time, place and culture must be considered as the church does when it allows its female members to wear their hair short or braided, etc. Galatians 3:28–"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." God used women to communicate His word as well as men. Acts 2:17 ". . . your sons and daughters shall prophesy . . ." God does everything with purpose and prophecy was used to get his message out to the world. Jesus made His resurrection first known to a female and instructed her to deliver the message to his disciples. If God and Jesus allow females to deliver their messages what church has the authority to forbid it?

  16. Cliff Williams says:

For women who have been called to ministry—Lisa Ackland Carriere and I are doing an interview book of women who are in ministry or who have been prevented from being in ministry because of their gender. For information, see w w w cliffordwilliams net / womensministrystories.

  17. pigjubby1 says:

"But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression."

Well, it depends one what you define a pastor is.
If you mean one who believes the bible is the Word of God and that God is perfect, The above come from the book of Timothy and if you believe the book of Timothy is the Word of God, then I think the answer is clear.

  18. 5769JJ says:

Are women allowed to be Christian pastors??

    No, they are NOT!

    1 Corinthians 14:

34 Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

Was this Paul's personal belief or from God?

36 Or did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached? 37 If anyone thinks they are a prophet or otherwise gifted by the Spirit, let them acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command. 38 But if anyone ignores this, they will themselves be ignored.

Yet there are those who twist and alter the word either through an attempt to discredit the teaching as being old fashioned or "interpreted wrong"

As stated in 2 Timothy 4:3, you can find teachers who will tell you what you personally want to believe:

3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

Then again, oh…..the idea of "Interpretation", well reflect on this passage found in Revelation 22:18 & 19:

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

So ask yourself, do you want to "add to or take away" from the word through your interpretation for your "itching ears" trying to twist the word to fit what YOU want?  Will you insist on your way?  Satan once thought as you then, be careful you do not meet his fate.

REAL Christianity is not "hip", nor popular.  It's isn't easy.  OBIEDIANCE is required of you.  Those who DO make it to heaven make only through the salvation given to you through Jesus Christ……..and you will be a servant.  So, strive to be as Christ was and is, A servant.  A servant follows the word…..and doesn't resent it.

  19. DC HOLOCAUST says:

This guy is just teaching ? speaking not necessarily God speaking through him..This is difference between a prophet or somebody that god speaks through.
Antybody can speak and be biblical correct not many can speak being led by holy ghost.. Sadly this is the norm for pastors to teach and not be very connected to spirits leading in the world. Yo will find those who walk according to the spirit doing what Jesus did . healing , prophecy, word of knowledge..ect. You might say that teaching is a spiritual gift. yes it is. but there is so much more than reading and making a sermon.

  20. Anthony Booker says:

    1 Corinthians 14:34
Let your women keep silence in the churches:for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. THIS IS TALKING ABOUT JUDGING PROPHETIC WORDS, and INTERPRETING TONGUES. He didn't want the women to do that

  21. Dave Biddle says:

@Darlene Garza "Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church." (1 Corinthians 14:34-45)

What about these verses do you think that men have purposely misinterpreted?  If anything, I think this verse has been interpreted very SOFTLY and I don't say that to insult or accuse anyone.  Paul is saying that women are not even allowed to speak at ALL in churches.  Paul says that a woman should ask her husband at home if she has a question.  I think we'd see a very different church if these verses were handled a literally as they speak.

  22. Eddie McGregory says:

That's scripture, the bible proves itself, great explanation!!! Keep on sharing the truth of the word of God.

  23. thejaigner says:

The exegesis here is really just non-existent.

  24. thejaigner says:

The biblical position is gift-based instead of gender-based ministry. Frankly, much of your assertions are based more on cultural arguments than the actual biblical text, interpreted in light of its historical and grammatical context. There are biological differences between men and women, and there are differences that result from cultural and societal influence. But we're are more than a set of roles or restrictions, and to place us in one of two categories is nothing short of dehumanizing.

  25. Darlene Garza says:

Then in 1Corin.14;34,35 (Let your women) means these women belong to those Husbands! But (They) means (Wife's ) are commanded to be under obedience , as also say 's the Law! (The Law never said, women under obedience to men)! But the Law, did say wife's are under obedience to her husband! Males intentionally interrupted this word as women instead of wife's!

  26. Darlene Garza says:

In 1Tim.2:11,12 said Let the guni means wife learn in silence, nor to usurp authority over the husband, But I suffer not a woman to teach? That would be (ERROR) if it is (WOMEN) THEN THAT'S ERROR!! Because God used Deborah , Huldah to teach the Law, and in Titus it's said women to teach! That's why you Know it's not (Women) but (Wife) ! The wife can't teach or have authority over Her Husband! Then He gives you a Husband&wife example!

  27. Nomvula Dlamuka says:

Amen. Stick to the word of God.

  28. ToLovelyJesus says:
