On April 18, 2016, Jim Wallis, president and founder of Sojourners, offered reflections on “America’s Original Sin: Racism, White Privilege, and the Bridge to a New America.” The event was part of the 2016 DC Emancipation Day Symposium hosted by the Georgetown University Working Group on Slavery, Memory, and Reconciliation. The event opened with an interfaith service.
